Lexus of Richmond Leadership Award

Lexus of Richmond gave away a $10,000 scholarship ($25,000 in 2020) every school year to one driven high school senior. Throughout the year we had 30 nominees, who all excelled in four areas: athletics, academics, community service, and extra curriculars. Each week, one student nominee was interviewed live on local radio stations before arriving at the dealership to be interviewed again for local tv. After the television interview, I would film the nominee for another interview to be used on social media.

I edited all of these videos which can be found on Lexus of Richmond's YouTube page.

Lexus Corporate Challenge

Lexus Corporate issued a challenge to all dealerships in the country for any willing sales staff/technology specialists and service advisors. As the sole video producer at the dealership, I filmed and edited two videos: one for service and one for sales. I put upwards of 20 hours into this project, working around each others schedules to film and then editing great videos for my collegues.

Lexus of Richmond submitted a video for the sales challenge and the service challenge. Both of our submissions won the Eastern Area!! Mike, our service winner, and Katie, our sales winner, were both flown to Los Angeles for three days to attend various meetings/discussions with some of the executive management at Lexus.

To the right, is our sales submission with Katie. This video had specific guidelines to follow, such as; a maximum of 8 minutes, the customer name was "Frank" and was in his 50's, and there were certain pieces of technology to be discussed (or delivered).

Lexus Technology Specialists

Lexus of Richmond had several technology specialists who were ready to help our guests with their vehicle's technology for any year or model Lexus. The realm of technology includes, but is not limited to: navigation, bluetooth, safety features, and customizable features like automatic wipers, seat heaters, and headlights. The tech team was ready to answer any question either on the phone or in person.

As an additional way to aide our guests, we created technology tip videos for our guests which are easily accessible on our YouTube page.

While filming, I made sure the technology specialists’ speech/instructions were clear in order for the viewer to follow along. I then filmed any additional shots needed such as a screen in the car or on the phone. After filming, I would edit the video by piecing the various clips together before posting it online.
